First of all, Happy Mother's Day to my mom and Jason's mom! The four of us feel so very blessed to have you in our lives and appreciate everything you do! We love you!
Team RyKy had a good time this weekend. Thursday, Uncle Dick, Aunt Mary, and Cousin Peter stopped by on the way through to Florida. It was nice to spend some time with them and they delivered some of Peter's childhood toys, which the boys are enjoying immensely.
Our friends, Jon and Melissa, came to visit from Wisconsin. Friday night, we had someone watch the boys and we went out for a nice dinner (with just adults). Saturday we went to the zoo, Jason and Jon played their first round of golf for 2009, we grilled out and went out for ice cream. We also got three games of "Ticket to Ride" in...a new favorite board game for Jason and me! Thanks Jon and Melissa for making the drive down...we really enjoyed it.
Today was a wonderful Mother's Day. We had our favorite Mexican for lunch, I took a nap, and we spent the entire afternoon outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather. I will soon be receiving my mother's day gift, an alarm clock, which turns green so the boys know when they are allowed to get out of bed (http://www.americaninnovative.com/products/teachmetime.php). I am so excited and hopeful that this clock will allow for an extra half hour of sleep in the mornings. We'll keep you posted if it works.

you'll have to let me know if this clock does the trick. Noah has been waking at 5:00 AM lately - big yawns. Then he wakes Andrew too with his fussing and Andrew usually stays awake too. This all leads to two fussy boys in the evening.
