Ryan and Kyle have arrived!!

Our two little blessings have arrived. On Tuesday, April 24, Ryan Nicolaus and Kyle Jamison were born via cesarean section. Ryan was born at 6:59 a.m., and measured in at 6 lbs., 6 oz., and 19" long. Mr. Kyle arrived only one minute later, at 7:00 a.m., and charted in at 5 lbs., 11 oz., and 20 1/2 " long.

In the fashion of being twins, they were crying loudly upon arrival (a very good sign), as if to say we are a competitive couple of guys. Each of them wanted to be louder than their brother. Since then, for much of the time, the boys have been sleepy-heads. Much of that is normal, but it may have been extended due to the magnesium sulfate being administered throughtout the process. Let me just add their is still quite a juggling act that naturally comes with babies.

Mom is doing terrific, and has been a trooper through the entire process. We did not necessarily expect for labor to be induced on Monday, nor for the C-section. All I can say is she is a lot tougher than her husband will ever be. In fact, I will now forever consider myself a wuss.

A few pictures are attached. There are far too many good ones, and so little time to post them.

Thanks for all of your prayers and well wishes!!

Congratulations !! They look so adorable and handsome. Ask the doctor to let you stay in the hospital for a couple of days. You will be working double times at home.
