Check out the boy's surf babies room. It was a fun theme inspired by our palm tree. The color lime green was picked out before we knew they were boys (and twins) with the intent of being unisex for future additions (if you look closely perhaps you will see the wide flat paint/semi-gloss paint stripes). Becca and Russ think we are crazy for this theme since "Mom" (I still can't believe I'm going to be a mom) refuses to go into the ocean on vacation. Grammie Coleen made the awesome quilts and Mom/Dad/Becca/Russ searched all over Florida to find us the skim boards to personalize with Ryan and Kyle's names (Kyle's skim board is on the opposite side of the room). The cribs were selected by default (price) once we determined we needed two of them; however, we do love them and they convert into toddler bed/headboard, etc! One of the cribs is placed in our bedroom for the time being as twins many times prefer to sleep together until 3-4 months. And the changing table is a hand me down; it was mine when I was a baby! We hope the boy's like their room. We definitely had fun putting it together and love how it turned out!
