Is it finally 'summer' this week?

The boys have been out of school for nearly a month and we've been staying busy.  For the month of June, they've been taking tennis lessons two times a week.  Every night they are asking to practice at home....I'm hoping this results in a mean doubles team to help fund college expenses (or at least enjoy a sport that both mommy and daddy can play).

This past weekend, we camped at Clifty Falls State Park.  Since Kyle had tears in his eye when we were leaving on Sunday, I think it is safe to say our boys LOVE to camp.  Here they are painting art work.
We went with 50+ others from chuch, so we enjoyed grilled donuts for breakfast...it went over quite well.
We hiked to see the falls...but he hasn't rained so there wasn't much to see...but we did see a millipede, which was a highlight.
The boys loved the nature center where they asked a zillion questions.
And named the pet turtle Two Spot.
We spent a good amount of time at the playground.
They were so amazed they could see Kentucky across the Ohio River so we traveled over the scary bridge to have DQ ice cream in Kentucky.
The inn at the state park was also very neat.  We visited 3 times because the boys so enjoyed the 'stuffed' animals.
And a BIG shout-out to the best, most amazing Dad in the world.  We had a special fathers day weekend. Jason is such a tremendous provider and blessing for our family.  His love for us just pours out and we love him so much for that.  Happy Father's Day!
