Summertime

We've had a lot going on since returning home from vacation, including the last few days of Preschool. Here's Ryan and Kyle with their great preschool teacher Mrs. Burkhardt. They had a class party at Chuck E Cheese.

The Parrott family joined us for some fun Memorial Day weekend....which included lots of water activities, parent's date night to the casino, and a trip to the children's museum...and of course some grilling out.
We went to the parade with the Snyder family.

One not-so-successful project was our patio. We completed a marble etching technique which looked pretty good; however, the 'clear' sealer ended up being white...so it has since been pressure washed back off. We added a rug and furniture with hopes of pavers in the future.
One successful project was the removal of our 120' Oak Tree just behind the mini barn. It was hallow at the bottom AND midway up near a raccoons nest. We are sad to see this go as it provided amazing afternoon shade....but now feel much safer during storms Here's the before.

The 'modern lumberjacks' did great work up there all day.

And even made a friend...Jason and I also celebrated a wonderful 9th Wedding Anniversary by going out to dinner (without team RyKy) downtown. This always marks the beginning of a wonderful summer. I love you Jason and thank you for blessing me with 9 amazing years....I so look forward for what the future years bring.
