Mommio, we miss you!

Team RyKy and Daddio are hanging out this week with Mommio out at a conference. (Nicole, we miss you. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Here are some pictures and videos of your boys to ensure you can keep up with the lastest and greatest of Team RyKy).

Grandma, Grandpa and Great-Grandma continued their visit through the weekend. Here is a picture of Grandpa with Ryan and Kyle on Saturday getting ready for the NFL draft. . .I mean the zoo to see Curious George.

Curious George has been a huge highlight for Ryan and Kyle over the past few months. They watch Curious George on PBS during the week, love the books and even had a Curious George-themed 2nd birthday party. But on Saturday, the love and appreciation Team RyKy had for Curious George momentarily swayed -- mainly for Kyle.

Originally, after standing in line and basically dancing to the fact Curious George was well within sight, we were asked to leave the line and come back later because Curious George needed to take a break. We did. As we patiently waited for storytime to begin, Curious George made a surprise visit. Ryan and Kyle jumped out of their seats and ran towards Curious George. Unfortunately, Curious George at that exact moment turned to his right and swiftly exited to his break room, leaving Ryan and Kyle feeling slightly dissed for a second time. Along with being tired and getting a little sun tan lotion in his eye, Mr. Kyle was not a happy camper (see photo). Ryan, on the other hand, managed to forgive Curious George, and met him a bit later (see video).

Later on Saturday, Team RyKy tried their new alligator pool. Simply, they liked it. They liked it so much they tried it again on Sunday.

Finally, a bright, sunny, 80-plus degree weekend would not be complete without a little landscaping and feeling of accomplishment. Team RyKy got out their watering cans and helped me water the plants and flowers.
