First weeks of Summer Break

As always, time is flying by and it is time to recap our summer before we head back to school.  The boys excelled in baseball and really ended up enjoying it.  They were consistently hitting in the outfield, were fast at running, and really loved being catcher.

Here is my mother's day present, all finished!  Unfortunately, because of the rather rainy summer, I haven't used it nearly enough.
We headed to Rhinelander for Memorial Day weekend to visit family.  We spent time with Grandma Plamann.
Saw a lot of the Enz family at John and Arlene's!
 Including Grandma Enz.
The boys even won a game of bingo at the rehab facility where Grandma P was recovering from a broken hip.
A HUGE added bonus was being able to see Bryn and Jadyn.
We returned for a 2 days of school and then it was SUMMER BREAK!  Starting off with a little baseball watching (from a rooftop)!
To kick off the Summer, we had dinner downtown, took a carriage ride, and then watched an ENTIRE symphony orchestra concert entitled Mad Men Era!  The music was amazing and the boys LOVED it.

A very cool experience was when the boys were able to take the field with the Indianapolis Indians to practice some baseball drills.  We then watched an Indians game.

The boys had a FABULOUS game and were both awarded a game ball!

Cousin Ian came to Indy for a few nights.

The boys then headed with Grammie and Grandpy for a few nights as Jason and I started our 13th Anniversary weekend.
The weekend kicked off with a neighborhood block party.

We then headed to Nashville, IN for a relaxing 3 nights at an inn.

The breakfasts and desserts were amazing.

Upon returning home, it was time to wrap up the baseball season.  The Dodgers made it to the playoffs, but lost one round from the finals.  It was a great season!
