Fall Break in Florida

For the second week of the boys fall break, we headed to Florida to see my parents.  Highlight included going to Blizzard Beach.

We did the all time favorite of camping at Fort Wilderness.  The boys really got into pin trading.   The only downfall was when Kyle traded his favorite Baby Pluto to another girl, had trading remorse and we spent a day trying to find a new one....We finally did when the camp store saw his saddness and found a spare Pluto in the back room!

 We had fun at the campfire with Chip and Dale. 

 We headed to Magic Kingdom for a day and we had SO much fun.  We only went on it's a small world two times this time and other BIG KID rides took priority for the first time.

We had a special sneak preview of the new fantasyland.  The cast members were practicing, but Kyle, Mom, and Jason were able to interact in a play with Belle.  There was also a pretty cool new Little Mermaid ride (which team RyKy could NOT stand).

  Kyle's favorite...splash mountain, the haunted mansion,  and buzz lightyear.  He did NOT like the spaceship ride, Goofy's rollercoaster, or big thunder mountain rollercoaster.

Ryan's favorites....big thunder mountain railroad (he went on it two times), dumbo, and he claims he will so splash  mountain again when he turns 7.  He did NOT like the haunted mansion or pirates.

 

The following day we went to explore the new Disney Resort with all the life size cars.

We also went to downtown disney for a little shopping and lunch.

Back at home, we went to the pool every day!  And every day GG join us.  We had so much fun.

We also got to spend a day with Auntie Ellen and Uncle Steve.

 It was such a special vacation as always.  We love spending the family time.
