For the past year, every time Kyle is asked what he would like to be when he grows up, he replies "A Daddy!" However, with the recent holiday spirit in full swing at the Mueller household, his new response is "A Santa Elf" (only after confirming that Elves go to heaven too)!
He has totally worked out all details! He will specialize in teddy bears. He no longer intends on getting married or having children (as he will be too busy working in toy land). He has to go by himself and will bring Mo the Monkey (who comes alive at the North Pole, thanks to the Christmas icicle). He will be too busy to travel home. If mommy wants to see him, Santa will send his airplane to fly mommy up to the North Pole; however, I will only be observing him, as he will likely be too busy to talk. He even mentioned we will have more money each month, as we no longer need to be saving for his expensive college education...I quickly told him that Santa's top recruits are college grads! His current elf attire is a Santa Mickey Santa hat, turned inside-out, so there is not white ball on the top! He wears it every day!
We just love Kyle's spunk and creativity! However, it does beg the question if we are watching a few too many Christmas movies...I don't know, is one Christmas movie a day too many?
