We stayed at the Embassy Suites near Navy Pier and the boys absolutely loved the hotel. Hours were passed looking at the ground below, taking the glass elevator, and swimming in the pool. As we ventured around Chicago, RyKy kept asking to just go back to our hotel. Silly boys!
We ate dinner at House of Blues.
Then the tour of downtown began. 
The boys loved seeing the Route 66 sign. We listen to the song on the Cars CD every day and hope someday to drive to California....just like Lightening.
Millennium Park was a pretty big hit too! The boys managed to get fairly wet in the reflecting pond.
And many funny faces were expressed in Chicago's "Bean"
The boys managed to get spoiled with lots of ice cream.
The next morning, Jason attended his conference. The boys and I explored. I didn't get a picture of it, but the boys made in on the local Chicago Television News waving at the camera on Michigan Ave....it was pretty cool.
Jason joined us for his lunch break.
Then we headed for an architecture boat tour.
Ryan enjoyed naming the street bridges as we went under them.
Navy Pier was our final stop before heading back to Indiana.
I was able to witness a beautiful reenactment of Disney's The Lion King.
We had such a wonderful time as it really felt like an actual, long vacation. I always enjoyed Chicago in the past but it was a fantastic city to bring children to.
