Spring, Easter, and Potty Training

We just love Spring. It is so refreshing being outside with warm weather and the sun shining. The neighborhood wakes up and the flowers begin to bloom. We are certainly enjoying our new house. The boys have gotten into basketball...not only did they enjoy watching college basketball, but they now have a passion of playing basketball. They have been playing nearly everyday for the past week and are getting quite good at it.

Another favorite Spring pasttime is rocking on the front porch and drawing. It feels a bit like the Cracker Barrel around here but the boys love for the four of us to be in the rocking chairs watching the world go by!

Friday we enjoyed a picnic along the White River and finding some butterflies at the zoo.

We had a wonderful Easter in Indianapolis. The weather was beautiful and we spent the whole weekend creating memories and traditions at our new house.
We have also been doing various projects around the house. We are so proud to report Jason replaced the sump-pump all on his own...such a handy man at our house ;-) We got the new mailbox up. We painted and decorated the guest bathroom. We are measured for our countertops which should be installed within 2-3 weeks...good-bye to hunter green! And we have began to prep the foundation for our new mini-barn. Oh, and we replaced the screen on the screendoor.
Finally, we have been potty training for the past few weeks. The boys earn train pieces each time they "pooh-pooh" on the toilet. I'm excited to say after 3 weeks, Kyle has caught on. The little stinker is also working the system....realizing he earns more train pieces, the more he goes. Yesterday he went 4 times in an hour and a half. Both Ryan and Kyle stay dry all day.
