There have been numerous comments about our two little guys by the visitors we have had, but there has been one unique thought that tends to get mentioned over and over again. . ."Wow, do they ever have big feet!"
This particular reference certainly gets overshadowed by the fact these guys are "so stinkin' cute," but at the end of the day, the fact remains. . .those feet are huge!!
We've mentioned the stats before: Ryan was born at 6 lbs., 6 oz, and 19". Kyle was 5 lbs., 11 oz., and 20 1/2". The key number not listed, however, is the fact they could have practically worn size 3 shoes right out of the womb!
That's right! The local high schools better get ready, because 16 years from now they may have a couple giant athletes on their hands. Bo Ryan, I would send these guys letters of intent right now; you and me both don't want them playing for the Hoosiers! Shaquille O'Neal's size 21 sneakers may not hold a candle to what these guys will be sporting a few years from now.
One other thing is for certain as well, as there is no question Great-Grandpa Enz is bragging about those L-shaped Great-Grandkids of his. The feet on these guys are perfect for stomping out those forest fires, he would say; but, unfortunately, they may cause them some trouble on the golf course because their feet will inconveniently cover the hole when they are trying to putt. Yes, those are the ups and downs of size 3 feet out of the womb.
Need more proof of their future status. . .look no further than Cousin Fila and Cousin Diadora. Sure, they may be dogs, but the point is they had big paw pads when they were born, and they are growing up to be pretty good sized pups.
We rest our case. After these quality examples, we know you too are now convinced these guys will be tall handsomes and make their mommy very proud.
As you can see, we had to document these little feetsies by cementing their prints to memory.
